Over the last few months, I've been learning exactly what it means to surrender my ENTIRE life to Him. Not only listening to uplifting music, or reading edifying books, but giving Him EVERYTHING. Giving Him the reins of your life and telling Him "I give my life over to you because even though I don't see what's ahead for me, I trust You and believe that You want whats best for me." It may or may not seem too hard to say that but let me tell you something, it takes courage.
Whether or not you think that He cares about you, He does. Whether or not you think that He provides for you, He does. Whether or not you think that He know exactly what's best for you, He does. God knows exactly what's best for our lives, and He would willingly take you there, if we would only surrender our lives to Him.
Many times we think to ourselves, sub-consiously "No, God, I know what I'm doing with my life and I know that I can do a much better job than You so if You could just step back, I can handle this." Well here's a reality check: WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT IS BEST FOR US. God gave His Son as a living sacrifice for you and me, we should be constantly giving our lives as living sacrifices to Him. I love the way Hillsong United put it:
Jesus carried the cross and our sins when He died, there is nothing else for us to do but to give Him our lives. No matter what you may have said or done in the past, it is just that...the past. God is giving you a new beginning, don't slap His hand away.

Trust Him with your life and He will direct your paths. And trust me, it is far better than anything you could possibly imagine or comprehend....so what are you waiting for?
